Traffic lights

On the one hand, traffic lights can be used to regulate access to the site, and on the other hand, they can also regulate entry and exit to the truck scale. The traffic light at the truck scale initially shows green. When the minimum load prescribed for a calibrated truck scale is exceeded, the traffic light changes to red. Now the data required for weighing can be entered and weighing can be initiated. When the scale comes to a standstill, the first weight data is stored in the database of the truck scale software and the truck can leave the scale. The same applies, of course, to the second weighing.

Large display

The main purpose of large displays is to show the driver the weight of the vehicle. However, there are also large displays with integrated traffic lights that signal to the driver that weighing has been successfully completed. If the set minimum load is exceeded, the traffic light turns red when the vehicle drives onto the scale. After successful weighing, the scale turns green and the driver can leave the scale. The same applies to secondary weighing. However, there are also large displays with alphanumeric display, all required operations can be displayed to the driver in text form (drive-up, weighing, weighing OK), etc. In logistics management systems, there are multi-line displays that show the driver, for example, to which loading or unloading point or ramp Experienced should go.

Car license plate recognition

With license plate recognition, internal processes can be optimized. On the one hand, recurring vehicles can be created in a so-called blacklist and then assigned authorizations. Self-service terminals

Driver self-service systems offer a high savings potential with regard to personnel costs at the truck scale. With the help of self-service terminals, internal processes can be considerably simplified and optimized. From a simple solution with an operating column directly at the truck scale with integrated RFID card reader, to state-of-the-art TOUCH terminals for registration and processing of predefined freight orders with barcode reader, built-in intercom and built-in printer. This provides drivers with complete self-service, allowing for initial and secondary weighing. These systems can be extended to a complete YARD logistics management system with truck congestion area and a truck call-off system via large display panels.

Barrier control

Barriers are used to regulate traffic entering a site and at the weighbridge to regulate the vehicles to be weighed. The barriers can be mounted in front of and behind the scale to prevent a following vehicle from driving up prematurely. In combination with a license plate recognition system, access to the premises can be automated on the basis of recognition of previously registered vehicles.

Light barriers

Light barriers are used on the truck scale for position monitoring at both ends of the truck scale (drive-up and drive-off side) and optionally on the long sides of the truck scale. Camera surveillance
